Decent stay with beach access

The location offered great access to a beautiful beach. A boat taxi to the main pier was available every two hours. The staff was super nice. Food was local and good.
The resort lacked hot water for showering. There was no refrigerator in the room. Breakfast had limited choice. Reaching the pier had limited times.

the beach was clean i suppose.
the shuttle boat rarely showed up when it was supposed to, and i almost missed my ferry because of it. getting to town was a whole thing every time i wanted to go. this place really needs better transport.

decent stay with some minor issues

My room had a lovely terrace right in front of the sea. i enjoyed hearing the waves at night, it was quite relaxing. the view was beautiful and the restaurant was close to the sea too. the staff carried luggage to the room. That was very helpful.
the boat trip to town cost around 1000 baht daily. it was difficult to find a boat at night, it dropped us off waist height in the sea. you can walk through the jungle, though it is not the easiest path, and takes about 45 minutes. it would be impossible at night too.
