The location was lovely. I appreciated the grounds. The room decor was GREAT. The nespresso coffee machine proved useful.

The smell near the room was unpleasant. I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and had a room with a hot tub, but the smell made it unusable! It smelled like sewage. Other guests mentioned the smell and moved rooms. The restaurant service declined. The staff seemed aimless and slow. I was also not allowed to have a latte with breakfast until 11am, which seemed ridiculous. Management did not resolve these issues.

I enjoyed the luxurious décor. It gave a very high-end feel. The beds allowed me to sleep well. The bathroom had awesome amenities, I must say. The staff exhibited true professionalism and attention to detail (always with a smile!).

The soundproofing could have been better. I overheard some noise from neighboring rooms, although it was minor.

Inconsistent Experience, Issues with Food and Room Upkeep

I was disappointed with a few things. The food quality on Saturday night was bad. I had chicken thighs that tasted like nothing, with undercooked gnocchi, and it cost too much. our room was too hot. The radiator was off, but it still felt unbearable. I found the thermostat set to 35 degrees downstairs! Finally, there was holes in the wall and some peeling wallpaper in the room. It's not what I expect from a place like this.
