I found the location superb. It offered easy access to the river Tyne near the Herd Groyne! The staff members were attentive. Their friendliness greatly enhanced my experience. My room was comfortable. I enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. I was pleased with the available menu. It had a good range of food.

I noticed that the piped background music was a bit loud in the lounge. It became slightly tedious.

the staff were attentive and friendly throughout my stay , and. i found the location convenient, close to the beach and pier for evening walks. the room i had was spacious , and it was comfortable.

the christmas lunch was disappointing , and my steak was not cooked as requested. i waited a long time between courses. the bar charged a lot for a pint of coke.

The breakfast service was slow. tables needed clearing more often. (it was busy, i understand, but still.) the bed in the room was not comfortable. I could feel the springs. sleep quality suffered because of it.
