mixed feelings about my stay
sewage smell unrefilled mini bar
The room had a strange sewage smell that didn't clear and the bathroom bin hadn't been changed. It still had the previous guest's waste in it. the room service staff said they could not leave a bottle opener in the room, so i had to call them every time i needed a bottle opened. the mini bar was not refilled on the second day.

a decent resort experience
great spa japanese restaurant broken water bungalow condition
the pools were very nice at the resort. the spa offered a great experience with a discount from the sales representative. the japanese sushi restaurant provided good food. the bed was long enough for me.
i booked a bungalow with a private pool and never got to use the pool because it had dead insects. i requested twice for the pool to be cleaned and it was never cleaned. the hot water in our room wasn't working properly for the entire stay.

The staff was awesome! Abdul, Clever, Elizabeth, Edson, Felister, Jacob, Aziza, Johari, Ruth, Neema, and Abdi in Jua Restaurant were helpful. Jackson, Rashid, Robert, Queen, and Jamal at Sunset Pool Bar were also great. Adrian and Abdul-Hakim at the Japanese Hub provided excellent service.
There was unbelievable disorganization. The hotel transport arrived late, even after providing flight details. I found the 'towel card' system inconvenient, as cards were often out. I had to go back and forth to get a beach towel.

wonderful resort experience

the staff were great abdul clever elizabeth edson felister jacob aziza johari ruth neema abdi in jua restaurant. the hotel upgraded us to a swim-up sea view room the room was amazing it was so peaceful relaxing and safe.
i found that the distances to do a trip were quite far and over roads with potholes

the resort is next to a beach the architecture and landscaping look superb i observed that the ocean breeze flowed into the resort offering a very tranquil experience the place is also prestine.

delicious breakfast spacious room helpful staff
i loved the spacious and clean room. the view was fantastic. i appreciated the delicious breakfast with plenty of options. they upgraded my seaview room and even surprised me with anniversary wine and cake.
sometimes i felt hurried to finish my meal because staff hovered nearby.

amazing experience!
fresh juice friendly staff restaurant staff room pick-ups
ramadan and the reception lady greeted us with fresh juice upon arrival. clever, latifa, masoud, and the rest of the restaurant staff were friendly. ibra assisted with room to restaurant pick-ups, which i really appreciated. i found this service to be very useful.
the music played throughout the resort was the same, which got repetitive very quickly.
