amazing selection friendly staff comfortable room member recognition embarrassing moment turndown service
The breakfast buffet offered an amazing selection. it was the best i had on my trip. the staff were fantastic and friendly. They wanted my stay to be comfortable. my room in one of the domes was beautiful and comfortable.
The hotel didn't recognize my status as a diamond member. It felt embarrassing. there was no turndown service, which i expected at a hotel of this level.

adequate stay at a historical place

I enjoyed the hotel's location inside the train station. This provided easy access to various train lines. The breakfast buffet was quite comprehensive. It included both Western and Japanese options. The bathroom had a very good shower and toilet. The bath was great too.
The gym was quite small. It even had an attendant watching you. No one offered assistance when we seemed lost near the elevators. My room was quite far from the elevator. It was a duplex.

convenient location pleasant staff included breakfast pleasant gentleman
the location IS very convenient. it is close to the train station, so travel was simple. the staff are very professional and pleasant to talk to
the breakfast was included for only one person. i have never stayed in a hotel where breakfast is included only for one, when you're staying there with an entire family. the gentleman was pleasant. but he was completely unwilling to budge

poor quality room service limited mini-bar
The room was super clean and well appointed.
Room service had poor quality. It was quite bland for a hotel of this caliber. I also found the limited choices on the menu disappointing. The mini-bar lacked variety. I could not find any milk for tea. I think a few more options would have made it better.
