grocery store free parking room cleanliness cleaning products
the grocery store near the apartment was really convenient. i appreciated having easy access to necessities. the apartment also offered free parking which simplified our travel a lot.
the room cleanliness was not ideal on arrival. there were no cleaning products in the room, really disappointing. i did expect a higher standard considering the overall rating.

Solid Stay with Convenient Amenities
free gym trial on-site laundry equipped kitchenette
The gym downstairs offered a free two-day trial. I used it. Laundry was available on site and it worked well. The kitchenette had basic items like salt, pepper, coffee, and tea.
After I made my non-refundable reservation, I received a letter from the hotel stating that I would be charged a fairly significant fee if I didn't take out the trash and do the dishes. This hotel is the same price as a hotel AND it charges a cleaning fee, yet I still had to walk OUTSIDE TO A DUMPSTER IN THE POURING RAIN to take my trash out before leaving. I wouldn't have made the reservation with such a requirement. If the hotel was cheaper than a hotel, sure. If they didn't charge a cleaning fee, sure. But to have prices on par with nearby hotels AND charge a cleaning fee AND require guests to do the cleaning, and to not let guests know this until AFTER the book is unacceptable.

unsanitary environment noise intrusion
The initial apartment assigned was subpar. specifically, i noticed many hairs in the bathroom walls and on a small cushion. This created an unsanitary environment. furthermore, the extractor hood above the stove was quite dirty. My wife cleaned it. the location of the second floor directly above the fitness center led to considerable noise intrusion. I heard equipment and the rumble of treadmills clearly from my bed each evening.

Excellent Apartment Near Reykjavik
equipped kitchenette convenient parking easy access sixth floor
The apartment included a well equipped kitchenette. It contained a cooler, fridge, microwave, and coffee machine. Fast WiFi was available at all times. The apartment also had very good storage opportunities. Parking was convenient, directly in front of the building. I appreciated the easy access using an electronic code. I never needed a key. There was an elevator that took us to the sixth floor. This was nice for transporting luggage.
The window frames needed better cleaning. That's the only thing that would make the room perfect.

The equipped kitchenette allowed for preparation of small meals. This helped save on dining costs. I found a supermarket just a short drive away! It had a wide variety of groceries.

The apartment had fast WiFi. I could easily stream videos and browse the internet. Free parking was available directly in front of the building. This was quite convenient. I found storage opportunities beneficial. This kept the apartment tidy.

lovely views extra towels excellent amenities
the apartment offered lovely views of the lake and surrounding mountains. excellent amenities included a washing machine and a dryer, very convenient. the availability of extra towels and toilet rolls was a nice touch , really making our stay more comfortable.
i noticed the mugs and dishes were not entirely clean upon arrival. this required me to wash them before i could use them.

the hotel offers a convenient location near route 1, simplifying travel by car. several shops are very close, and the area provided a very calm atmosphere.

the apartment was spacious , also offering a well-equipped kitchenette. the beds proved comfortable, extending to the pull-out sofa bed. ample windows provide a nice view, contributing to a more pleasant atmosphere.
