faulty boiler solar power
the gardens were beautifully maintained, acceptable.
the upstairs rooms rely on solar power, BUT it didn't work well during cloudy days. a boiler was installed in my room, BUT it was faulty. i had to go down two floors to use a shower in another room.

Historical Gem with AMAZING Gardens
quality furniture secure parking
The renovated hotel had quality furniture. I found beautifully tended gardens and a swimming pool. Sunshine bathed the wrap-around terrace, perfect for end-of-day drinks. I enjoyed secure car parking and fresh breakfast.

The hotel sits atop a hill, I found it's a short ten-minute drive from the sea. This location gives easy access to both coastal activities and a peaceful retreat, and the Alpujarras are about an hour and fifteen minutes away by car.

My Junior Suite offered SEA views and air conditioning. The room featured quality furniture, I saw clean fluffy towels, and toiletries. The beds were comfortable, I slept soundly each night.

historic charm and gardens
tropical gardens warm welcome sugarcane production private parking
I loved the tropical gardens. They felt really good and well kept. the owner gave a warm welcome. it felt special to learn the area was once devoted to sugarcane production. the house has a real character with an automatic closing gate and a large private parking lot close to the building.
the narrow road from the main road may initially surprise some guests , as you drive alongside farmland to approach the gate.

the pool was available though i did not use it during my late november stay. there are long line of tropical fruit trees on one side of the garden, and guests can enjoy them. the hotel includes a large private parking lot close to the house.

The traditional andalusian breakfast included bread with olive oil, tomato, avocado, serrano ham, cakes, orange juice and nespresso coffee. the hotel catered an evening meal to our taste. It was one of the best meals we have had in spain. i also had the opportunity to try bananas from the excellent garden.

The hotel is set in beautiful gardens. It is wonderfully quiet. the area is away from busy neighborhoods , thus perfect for those who like quiet countryside. it is off the beaten track but remains very accessible.

the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. stuart met us on arrival and was very pleasant. the owner and staff were very cute and engaging. carolina was attentive in every moment during breakfast on the terrace.
