flimsy cotinflated bill
i found a couple of things less than thrilling . the 'beautiful family room' wasn't exactly beautiful. they squeezed in extra beds, one was a flimsy cot clearly missing vital support, my older child nearly ended up on the floor. also, they tried to inflate the bill at checkout claiming we had more orange juice than we actually consumed. good thing my partner spoke the local language to sort out that mess

wonderful riverside retreat

I returned to this hotel. i observed some improvements, mainly around the jetty areas. the gardens are immaculate with shady places. ali around the pool was amazing. He always checked that everything was ok. i have been visiting this region for years, and this is the best hotel i have stayed in. It is so relaxing.
the night reception manager challenged us for bringing bottles of water into the hotel. he said we should buy their water from the bar. i think this is obnoxious in a hot country.

the hotel features a fantastic location right on the river. it is a ten-minute walk to a good restaurant. the hotel is fifteen minutes from the main town, providing easy access.

The kettle was only supplied after i requested it. the tea, coffee, sugar, and coffee mate weren't replenished after the first day. this felt rather substandard considering what i expect at this price point.

The pools were great, with many shady recliners available. Its right next the river, and near to the town center. Breakfast had excellent food. Dinners at the hotel also were good. I found the staff to be nice.
The hotel water cost more than expected. It did feel a little obnoxious.

The hotel offers two beautiful pools. It has a pleasant spa area and well kept gardens with seating. There are amenities like a private jetty for accessing the beach and relaxing common areas available .

The breakfast options felt limited. The juice cost extra (I did not see that coming). I wish someone had mentioned this, because I wasn't thrilled about paying extra for something I expected to be included.
