a good escape in nature

I am happy about my second visit. dudley arranged a convenient car with a driver to the airport. the pool offered a relaxing afternoon, surrounded by jungle and monkeys. it seemed like coming back home. I really liked that.

the vibe was a little weird (i think) when dudley visibly took a commission on the safari from the money we gave our guide.

amazing sri lankan stay!

I loved my time here, it was really good. the staff was very friendly and helpful and the meals were excellent, especially the barbecue! i took advantage of the pool and the beautiful garden space. It reminded me of a tropical escape. the hosts can arrange travel plans and outings if you ask!

the bathroom smelled a little bit of urine, it was the least nice i've seen. a small issue, but worth noting, even if i found the stay amazing!

The hotel is conveniently located near town. It has easy access to groceries, shops, and an atm, so handy. i even found a great thursday market nearby, a perfect little place. it really is ideal!

we stayed in a beautiful treehouse it was well-designed. the owner and staff were super accommodating, going out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of. i appreciate the great hospitality to arrange trips and drivers, they even collected us from the station. i am grateful for an amazing time.

i found the room not well maintained with a bit of basic maintenance required to bring this room up to an acceptable standard. the lock was broken on the door upon arrival, and the toilet cistern also broke.

The breakfast had delicious sri lankan pastries and freshly baked breads! i stayed in the two bedroom suite. It had cool architecture, comfortable beds, and a great view of the gardens. the location allowed walking distance to several restaurants.

this resort is gorgeous. the breakfasts were hearty. they included a variety of local dishes! the bbq night had fresh seafood and perfectly grilled meats. the treehouse, garden, and pool create the perfect backdrop for total relaxation.

The staff was trying to be helpful, however not everyone spoke fluent english. This made arranging for dinner a bit tricky. it was a small issue, but worth noting.

An Lovely Jungle Escape

The local breakfast was amazing (especially the fresh fruit!). Dudley assisted with organizing a safari. The swimming pool was refreshing. Meals served were tasty, with large portions available. The quality of the food was excellent, offering real value for money.

I found the room needed better maintenance. The lock was broken when I arrived. Basic upkeep could bring this room up to an acceptable standard.
