charming boutique stay

the beautiful room was spacious it featured good quality shampoo conditioner shower gel body lotion and hand soap. I appreciated the option to exchange housekeeping for a £7.50 drinks voucher. the staff were friendly especially antonella who offered great local tips.
i found the underfloor heating in the bathroom excessive given the outside temperature there was no mini fridge in the room so water was lukewarm

the hotel is a short walk to the city center it provides a nice escape from busy areas. the hotel is also close to attractions this makes exploration convenient and efficient.

the staff were cute and left chocolates with a note, knowing we were celebrating an anniversary. the evening meal and breakfast were delicious. the building had character, yet its facilities were contemporary.

I regularly visit the hotel. Michael, the night porter, greets me with a cheery demeanour and a lovely americano. Michelle and her team run the breakfast room. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Fay on reception makes every guest feel special.
The bed was poorly made, LOOKED like someone had already been in it. The food was very good, though you should check prices of wine before ordering, some are very expensive! I only met one member of staff. She was very helpful and pleasant.
