I found the location very peaceful. It was also a short walk to the seafront for long walks. The area is very dog friendly. The room had a mini fridge, along with tea, coffee, sugar and biscuits. I also appreciated the good quality bed linen and large, decent-sized towels.
The exterior of the hotel looked a bit untidy and could use some refurbishment. I felt the approach to the building was not particularly inviting.

The staff were friendly and gave useful advice. The breakfast was amazing.
The dining room ceiling looked like it survived a flood and lost. Paint peeled in multiple places throughout the house. I found the garden unkempt, so sitting outside was out of the question.
