the building had a unique history. the central cloister was excellent. i found the rooms comfortable.
the hotel restaurant was closed. the corridors where the rooms are located smelled musty.

spacious room lovely decor fresh choices quiet courtyard
i found the room spacious with lovely decor. the bathroom included high-end toiletries. breakfast provided a wide array of fresh choices, and i especially liked the local pastries. i really enjoyed the quiet courtyard.
the wifi signal was occasionally weak in certain areas of the hotel.

Historic charm
xiv century building city square polite staff
The building dates back to the XIV century. The location is a short walk to the main city square. Parking was easy and free . The staff was helpful and courteous throughout my stay.
The antiquated air conditioning in my room did not work well. It desperately needs to be updated. The room was not comfortable with furniture over 30 years old. I had sleepless nights.

The room I stayed in was big. It had a good-sized bathroom. The room was completely dark when the curtains were closed at night, a plus for light-sensitive sleepers.

The location is very central.. within steps of the main square. It also offers convenient walking access to many of the bodegas. I could easily explore the area.

king bed helpful staff excellent building
the hotel room had a super king bed, great. the staff were helpful and always available to assist. the building was excellent. i was glad.
the lobby seating looked worn. the seats definitely needed updating to match the hotel's standard. i wish it was better.

underwhelming stay in historic building
musty odor closed restaurant
The building itself has character. however, our room felt dated, with a noticeable musty odor. I think it came from the old carpet. the shower also needed a better cleaning. staff seemed more interested in their phones than giving information on the building's history.
