Gal Oya Lodge, Galgamuwa (Monaragala)

Gal Oya Lodge is situated in a protected jungle area adjacent to Gal Oya National Park. This eco-lodge spans 20 acres and offers spacious bungalows that are built with sustainable materials. Each bungalow includes an indoor/outdoor bathroom, separate sitting areas, and private verandahs, allowing guests to connect with nature seamlessly.

The Lodge offers nine bungalows, each 800 square feet, featuring generous living spaces and alfresco bathrooms. For larger groups or families, the Lodge Villa combines two bungalows with a shared living area and includes a private plunge pool. Both options provide stunning views of the surrounding landscape.

Located near Gal Oya National Park, the Lodge is near Sri Lanka's largest inland body of water, the Senanayake Samudra Lake. This location provides opportunities for wildlife spotting, including Sri Lankan elephants swimming between islands.
