the room had complimentary wine as well as fruit juice and water, i thought that was great. the beds were also really comfy, i slept very well.
The food was a little on the steep side. Especially having to pay for tea separately and not included in the breakfast price.

secret courtyard warm atmosphere really good service
the room had complimentary refreshments. the pub's courtyard is a secret gem. rich and his team offer a warm welcome, and their service is really good! it was a delight.
the breakfast cost extra, even the tea.

The hotel offers complimentary soft drinks and water in the fridge. individual milk bottles and fresh orange juice. It was a pleasant surprise to find such thoughtful additions there.

the king room was spacious. bathrobes were available for use, this. A coffee machine with pods was provided. a kettle with teas, and all were much appreciated.

The hotel's location is good. the cathedral next door is glorious. The owner shared a mini history! waking up on sunday morning, i heard church bells and saw blue skies, very picturesque.

The room had bathrobes (that was a nice touch). I found complimentary drinks inside the fridge. It also included real milk. That was unexpected. All amenities were present.

The room was large. It had a mini bar and a coffee maker. I was charmed by the pub and the helpful staff. The pub is dog friendly.
A noisy machine swiched on and off at night. I could not use the coffee machine. A vegetarian breakfast was not available unless I wanted eggs.

helpful staff perfect location spacious room
the staff was friendly there. the location was perfect (especially for exploring the peak district). the room was surprisingly spacious and a good value.
i found that charging extra for toast at breakfast felt a little unreasonable.
