Riverside Retreat

The riverside cabin was close to Kruger National Park's Phabeni Gate. I found reasonable prices for both lodging and food, and the staff tried hard to satisfy customers. The view from the cabin was AMAZING. During dinner, I even spotted a hippo near the river.
The proximity to the main road meant I heard some truck noise from the restaurant deck at times.

The chalet river view was equipped with modern amenities, including a king sized bed and separate seating area. It was like home. There was also a private balcony overlooking the river where I watched hippos graze!

The hotel features a restaurant with river views where one can enjoy delicious pizzas, though maybe it gets TOO busy. There are also helicopter tours available for those wanting an aerial view, and the hotel organizes affordable safari tours.

The staff worked hard to maintain the hotel. They were helpful, friendly, and really were really nice. The security at the gated entrance was excellent and reassuring, ensuring guests' safety day and night.

The breakfast buffet offered a large variety of choices I found the iced tea cute upon arrival. The staff handled check-in efficiently, and I received my room keys promptly. I was also able to see hippos walking in the garden. The location is serene.
The room seemed a little dated but it was clean and well-kept which was acceptable.

The hotel features a large green area extending to the riverbank I enjoyed seeing the hippos. There is also a swimming pool. It seems well kept with clean and organized common areas.

Breakfast included a buffet with varied options, I found the view from the restaurant terrace beautiful. The restaurant also serves dinner. I saw hippos from the deck during dinner.
Location

The location is close to Kruger Park, I found the park entrance a short drive away. I also saw elephants across the river from my chalet. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful.
