the setting is indeed scenic. i appreciated the elegant, comfortable rooms. the breakfast selection had many choices. the hosts provided helpful suggestions for local activities.
the bedroom blinds were not working correctly. i noticed a pump made noise every night. the road outside was also noisy.

The hotel includes gardens with sheep, pigs, and chickens. i observed that this is a working farm. the views extend beautifully over the countryside. I saw them myself from the garden patio.

breakfast featured fresh ingredients from the farm. i noticed that the hostess prepares delicious breakfasts. home produced bacon, eggs, sausages , jams and marmalades are available. flowers in the room are homegrown, i could see them.

the room included excellent tea and coffee making facilities. i found the bedroom spacious and very clean. the bathroom was nice. modern amenities were supplied in the separate den.

the farmhouse has fabulous views over the south hams. dartmoor national park is also close. the hosts offer maps and booklets. i noted the hosts gave great advice on any area to visit.

Really good Hotel in Devon Countryside

The hosts were good, and I received a warm welcome. My accommodation was of a very high standard. The bed was comfortable. The location was nothing short of amazing. I felt very grateful. I will certainly return.
I noticed some noise from a pump at night. It was very slight though, and did not affect my overall stay.

Breakfast offered endless choices, including local produce. Nicola cooked the breakfast with eggs and pork from the farm. It set me up perfectly for the day. I especially enjoyed the freshness of the ingredients.

The accommodation was spacious and very clean. I found excellent tea and coffee-making facilities in my room. The room and dining area had lovely pieces of art. Graham collected these artefacts, and they looked fantastic

Graham and Nichola are excellent hosts. I felt immediately at home. Conversations with them were good. They are knowledgeable about the local area. They gave me some great recommendations and also a map to borrow.
