the hosts joanne and richard are very helpful and friendly. they are hospitable. i had a double or twin room garden view, and it was super clean. the room also had excellent views of carbis bay. the breakfast was varied with excellent taste and quality. the cornish tea in the lounge is a must. i also enjoyed the trust bar a lot.
the pillows in the room were very flat. there were no alternatives available. the tv was also quite small with a bad signal. the sound wasn't great either.

jo provided a very warm welcome upon my arrival. breakfast was excellent, especially the varied choices available (i am not a big eater!). the location was great for accessing both local buses and the train. i found the train station to be just a short walk down the hill.
the tv in my room was rather small, and i noticed the signal was not always perfect.

i found the breakfast choices excellent and varied. i enjoyed the wonderful view from my bedroom alongside the outdoor seating area. i thought the hostess was eager to help at all times.
the pillows were a little too flat for my liking and i could not find alternative options.

The lodge has a perfect location and is a short distance from both the rail station and the bus station. Carbis beach is also just down the road with turquoise waters and white sands.

the breakfast was fantastic. jo, the host, gave us many recommendations on places to visit. i found the local information very helpful and i felt so welcome.
The pillows in the room were quite flat, and i didn't see any alternatives. the tv in my room was also unbelievably small. It strained my eyes quite a bit.
