The staff was indeed very friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered varied and delicious options. The hotel provides free parking, and that IS a great bonus.
My room was a bit small, and so was the bathroom. I noticed a slight musty smell in the lobby, impacting the room too. Only a single bin change occurred during my nights.

the rooms were clean and well kept with modern decor and comfortable beds. the staff was friendly, always ready to assist. the breakfast offered a good variety with fresh options. the location was also convenient.

The hotel was clean. The family who run it were friendly and very helpful! our double room was immaculate, with fresh towels daily and complimentary toiletries. breakfast each morning was a treat, russell served perfectly cooked meals. There were always several choices available. the car park offered ample space and felt secure, a real bonus!
the shower cubicle was compact! though it was adequate, i would have preferred slightly more room.

Each table was neatly set with quality cutlery and super clean glassware. service during breakfast was attentive. Staff remembered preferences and offered prompt refills.

Our double room included a comfortable bed with crisp linens. there was a tv with freeview channels, and complimentary tea and coffee. the en-suite bathroom had a powerful shower and fluffy towels. the room had effective soundproofing. Street noise was minimal.

the location offered convenient access to local amenities and attractions. i found i could easily reach the harbour on foot. local bus services operated frequently from a stop close to the hotel, it was useful for exploring further afield.
