Secluded Jungle Stay

I found the surroundings attractive. It was tranquil with much wildlife. Staff members are engaging. The daily pre-dinner guest cocktail reception is a great experience. The architecture of the public areas is open. My forest pavilion had a tree house design. The infinity pool offered good design.

The forest pavilion features mosquito nets and wicker blinds. A comfortable bed includes a duvet. There is also a fridge, ceiling fan, hot shower, and flush toilet available. This ensures convenience.

Each evening, an excellent complimentary cocktail is served. It is made with the local Arrack. Guests pre-order their main course earlier in the day. The hotel features an excellent vegetable garden that guests can tour.

The hotel is set amidst 80 acres of forest. There is easy access to the top of Diyaluma Waterfalls. The hotel provides anti-leech socks for exploring streams. This is very useful.

the infinity pool had a good design.
I found customer service lacking for the price i paid per night. it was almost nonexistent, and issues were not properly addressed. for example, a cooking class i booked was not organized when i arrived. this caused me to lose time and miss other activities i had planned. This was very disappointing.

my forest pavilion was awesome. it was open to nature, and the comfortable bed had a duvet, i was so happy. the food was amazing!!! a free cocktail each evening before dinner was really nice. we enjoyed the hotel's vegetable garden, it was really excellent.
the cottage was not ready when we arrived, even though we called ahead, it wasn't cleaned. the drinking water in the room was a light green color, that was weird. the staff weren't helpful, and some had trouble communicating in english.

I stayed in the forest pavilion. it was a fun experience close to nature, also high quality accommodation. all the touches you would expect cover it in a luxury hotel. the infinity pool was beautiful. The pavilions and pool area were relaxing.
attention to detail is not consistent, and linen had some stains. towels were probably ready to be retired. there were not enough of the right sized leech protective wear in room.

the manager was fantastic. he was so helpful, even lending waterproofs. the staff are lovely and always enhance your personal experience of the area.

The hotel is set in a beautiful setting. it feels like a secluded paradise. the whole set-up is so well thought out. There is a cooking class. the cooking class involves the chef cooking.
