reasonably cleansmall roomunstable water
My 'Double Room' was reasonably clean. I suppose standards are slipping everywhere.
Honestly, the room felt smaller than advertised. The ensuite shower had a mind of its own. Water temperature changed without warning. The experience was more of an endurance test than a relaxing getaway, so I'm not too happy.

the room was clean and tidy. fresh bath sheets were a great addition and the bedding was very comfortable. i also found having two full-size pillows (unlike other places i've stayed) very useful.
the signs with rules displayed on the walls made me feel a little restricted.

the hotel is near the train station (south station). i found the promenade easy to reach on foot. it offered a good balance of being away from the main bustle, while still remaining very accessible.

the room was replenished daily. additional extras included washing powder. sanitary items were also provided. mark was a friendly host (i really appreciated that). check-in and check-out were smooth.
i found a single small stain on a towel.
