breakfast cookies victorian furnishings helpful staff
The staff helped me with my bags, which i appreciated. breakfast cookies were a highlight. victorian furnishings added charm. It was worth the money.
The room wasn't super clean. I found a few hairs.

warm welcome interesting detail decorated area safe environment
Carol welcomed me warmly at reception. She shared interesting details about the hotel's history. The lounge offered a decorated area for Christmas. The hotel has a very safe environment. I enjoyed the warm and comfortable lobby .
The old sheets looked worn, containing fuzz and a few hair strands.

The staff offered assistance with local sights. They marked routes on a map. Carol took photos of guests during breakfast. The service was AMAZING!!!

i appreciated the tea and coffee bar available 24 hours. it offered a cozy space to relax and enjoy the selection. breakfast included baked goods possibly sourced locally. i noticed a variety of rustic breads and assorted cookies displayed.
the building is old and has no elevator so i had to carry the luggage up the stairs.

decent stay with some issues
friendly staff good breakfast hot drinks poor view limited amenities undesirable area
the staff were warm and friendly. the breakfast offered a good variety, especially the continental options. i liked that hot drinks were available in the lounge anytime i wanted one.
the room did not have a great view. i would have appreciated more hotel amenities for the price i paid. the area wasn't my favorite, but i felt safe and it was easy to get to the metro.

quiet stay near downtown
pleasant staff open living room great water pressure proper door
the staff was genuinely pleasant. i found the living room open at all times, a nice touch for coffee. the bathroom had great water pressure, which i always appreciate. the door to the bathroom was a proper door, not a sliding barrier.
My room was small. It barely fit my luggage.
