Boutique hotel with private winery in Kakheti's wine country
Amenities
Marani Elizbar1918 offers an indoor swimming pool, a garden, and a restaurant in the village of Kisiskhevi. The pool is covered and heated, with sun loungers and towels provided. Guests have access to free private parking, a terrace, and a paid airport shuttle service.
Rooms
The hotel has six rooms spread around the garden, including Double Rooms with Garden View, Mountain View, and a Standard Double Room. Each room is decorated with antique furniture and rugs sourced from Persia and Central Asia. All rooms have air conditioning and are non-smoking, with family rooms available.
Dining
The on-site restaurant serves home-made Georgian dishes such as khachapuri, mtsvadi, and chakapuli, prepared fresh to order. Breakfast is included and served on the terrace or garden patio. Dinner is available with a limited menu, and guests can pair meals with the hotel's own Saperavi wine.
Winery
The hotel operates a winery on the premises, producing wine in clay kvevri buried underground using an ancient Georgian method. Guests are offered a guided tour of the wine cellar and can taste wines including Saperavi and rosé. The winery also allows visitors to observe the opening of kvevri during harvest season.
