The staff was indeed lovely. The coffee machine and tea tray in the room were a great touch. I also loved the library with the fire.
There was no towel racks in the bathroom, a minor convenience. The TV feature didn't work, this was a shame. There was a lack of electrical outlets in the bathroom too.

slow serviceovercooked burger
I found a few things could be better. the service at dinner was slow, i really had trouble getting attention. the food itself wasn't great either. My burger was overcooked and quite dry. i expect more attention to detail for what i paid.

a tender memory
cozy roomcomfortable bedovercrowded restaurant
The room was lovely, i felt so cozy and safe. there was a great sized bathroom with a very comfortable bed. I slept soundly. checking in was smooth. I just wanted to get to my room and relax for a bit.
The bar and restaurant were overcrowded each night of our stay. It made it hard to eat dinner. after long days, i did not want to wander out to find a restaurant.

The hotel provides convenient parking on the premises. It accommodated several vehicles. guests can relax in a well kept bar area that creates a great atmosphere, and the bar staff are attentive and quick to serve every customer who comes in.
