basic needsslow sink drainweak shower pressure
the hosts seemed helpful enough the room was clean it met my basic needs for a short stay
i was quite disappointed the sink in the shared bathroom drained slowly it was almost unusable and the shower pressure was very weak it made washing my hair quite difficult also there was quite a lot of noise from outside throughout the night it disrupted my sleep

I stayed for two nights and found the building very beautiful. the beds are SO comfortable. I slept very well. parking was available upon request, a HUGE help. the merseyrail station is very close, i used it a lot.
i WISH there had been dressing gowns available in the bedroom. i had to walk across the landing to get to the bathroom. it was a little inconvenient at night.

some issues i found
extra chargeexposed bathroom
I was a bit annoyed that breakfast was extra. i thought bed and breakfasts always included it in the price! also, they wanted us to take our shoes off even after using the doormats. the robes weren't even in the room. They were in the bathroom, exposed for everyone. that wasn't private at all.

The breakfast was not included in the price, it was an extra charge. also, i had to remove my shoes after wiping my feet on two doormats! there was no milk in the room when i returned from town, so i couldn't have tea. the dressing gowns were in the bathroom, not the bedroom. It was a little inconvenient!

the room was VERY clean. the location was good and the owners were really lovely. i liked the decor, it was a great touch. the bedding and furniture felt very high quality!
i was asked to take off my shoes after wiping my feet on two door mats. i found no milk for a cup of tea. i think this is a problem as i needed it in the morning too. the bathroom was open for all to see and i had to run across a lit landing at night.
