charming grain mill stay
light snacktasty breakfastcomfortable bardated room
staff offered a light snack as the restaurant was closing after my long drive. breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty. the hotel has endearing qualities with some original machinery still visible. the bar was comfortable.
the room i had was advertised with a double bed. it was actually two single beds pushed together, i almost fell through the middle. the room could use some modernizing.

The hotel is near the coastline. there is plenty of free parking available. This makes access convenient. exploring nearby spey bay and elgin requires a car, but it is easy enough, so plan accordingly.

The staff was cute to me and my pup. Special mention to karen and fiona and helen. The food was tasty and priced reasonably. breakfast was very varied and delicious. I chose chicken goujons. i found the stay lovely.

I was greeted warmly upon arrival and found the staff accommodating after my long journey. They even offered a snack as the restaurant neared closing time.. The following morning, the Scottish breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. I would certainly consider returning here in the future.
