adequate stay with some issues

the location was close TO the beach.
the gym disappointed ME. there were only two treadmills. some equipment needed maintenance. breakfast lacked variety, mostly the same items daily.

The staff was very helpful and kind. They actively looked up a specific local activity for us. I traveled with my wife for our honeymoon, and they arranged a special setup in our roomwith some flowers and wine. The location was close to the beach and local restaurants. Towel hire was easy and convenient.
The bathroom was quite small, and there was no on-site restaurant except for breakfast. A taxi ride to the airport was 95 euros, which i found quite expensive. The pool water was cold, so i could not swim. There were only two pillows in the room, and i had to request a blanket.

Breakfast featured a good selection. The breakfast buffet was on a superb terrace and had very good choices. I enjoyed the variety of items offered each morning .

The hotel gym was well stocked with equipment. The hotel has very well-kept gardens, which are clean and beautiful. I found the pool area quite relaxing even though i could not swim there.

The staff was friendly and supportive. They helped with all my questions. The reception team were professional, very attentive, and always ready to assist. They speak french very well too.

Acceptable Stay with Some Downsides

The staff were consistently friendly. (A welcome change, I must say.)
The pool was unheated. This made swimming quite unpleasant. The room itself felt rather basic. The bedspread and curtains looked dated and in need of replacement. No on-site restaurant (other than for breakfast) was available which was inconvenient.
