The staff were very helpful. i appreciated the availability of complimentary hot dashi broth and sake in the evenings (it was perfect after walking around). the hotel allowed us to store our suitcases until check-in. This meant we could explore freely.
i thought the paint on the walls in the rooms could use an update.

The lobby was very beautiful with a nice garden view. Free snacks and drinks were available. This was a REALLY nice touch. The room was very nice and neat. The hotel's proximity to Nishi Hongan-ji and a short taxi ride to the station worked well for sightseeing.
The breakfast had limited options suitable for western tastes. The focus was mainly on asian cuisine.

the design of the hotel was acceptable. the breakfast offered a good price to quality choice.
Behind the toilet, the room was not clean. i also found someone's tongue scraper on a chair in the room. This was very concerning.
