i found the staff friendly . they created a really cute atmosphere. the food was AMAZING!!! especially the brie starter and lamb stew. i thought the open fire added a nice touch, particularly given the cold weather.
the lighting inside could be a bit brighter.

the outside area looked scruffy. it needs some maintenance.

the breakfast was fantastic, with quality sausages and tasty jams. the staff accommodated a change in meal time and were happy to help. portion sizes were generous, and the food seemed fresh and cooked well. i was very impressed by the overall quality.
The staircase felt a little dingy . It could use some freshening up. it was a very minor thing and didn't affect my overall experience.

car parking felt safe, and i had no worries about my vehicle. the hotel included a selection of beers, with multiple options on draft, excellently maintained. the surroundings were peaceful and quiet which added to the experience.
