noise disturbance hidden switch
The self check-in was not smooth. I didn't see any staff until breakfast the next morning. there was noise at night, and it made it hard to sleep. i also had a hard time finding the light switch. it wasn't in an obvious place. the room was clean though.

a GREAT stay INDEED
gorgeous decor comfortable bed great selection friendly staff
the room decor was gorgeous and very super clean. i found the bed particularly comfortable, which gave me a great night's sleep. breakfast was excellent, with a great selection available. the staff were helpful and friendly.
i noticed a slight noise disturbance during the night, although it didn't majorly impact my stay.

the breakfast offered a full cooked meal, and i would say it's probably the tastiest breakfast i've had in a long time. a fresh breakfast was served and it was delicious. a GREAT selection was available.

My room was rear facing, so it was very quiet. I had a wonderful sleep. the room itself was fine and larger than i expected. the bed was very comfy. the room had everything i needed for a restful stay.

The hotel had a recent fit out. the directions online to free public parking were accurate. The parking was only 100 yards away. the self check-in process was smooth and hassle-free, something i appreciated.

fantastic stay.
georgian house tasteful decor efficient staff delicious breakfast
the georgian house design MADE a great first impression. the decor throughout was tastefully done, and the bedroom was like a sanctuary. everything i needed was available in the room. the staff serving breakfast were efficient and polite, a definite plus. the cooked breakfast offered a delicious array of breads, fruits, and juices.

tea coffee facilities impersonal check-in street noise
the room was nice and clean, with tea and coffee facilities available.
I found the self check-in process impersonal, though i understand the need for efficiency. there wasn't any staff around when i arrived. This. also, the noise levels from the street were quite high, and this disturbed my sleep.

Acceptable But Disappointing Check-in Process
poor check-in drafty windows
The breakfast was nice.
The check-in process was problematic because my confirmation email lacked crucial information such as the room number and door password. I was unable to reach anyone by phone for a couple hours. The room was also very cold due to drafty windows, and the heating system was off the first night.
