Really good Hospitality and Onsen Experience
private onsens village center attentive staff daily amenities
The several onsens made a real difference. I enjoyed them privately and without needing to go to the public baths. The ryokan sits in the village center. All public onsens and other services are easily reachable within a few minutes by foot. The staff replenished towels and yukata daily.
The hotel building is quite old with different levels. Navigating it involves many stairs, which could be challenging for some guests.

The staff was helpful and organized. They explained everything so well. They even offered pick-up from a nearby train station and drop-off at a local monkey park.

There are many private baths throughout the hotel.. We could visit them as a family, amazing. Access to the nine public onsens provided diverse bathing experiences.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent Japanese food experiences. I tried so many little dishes! The kaiseki dinner was great, and I stayed three nights, so they served different menus each day.

Wonderful Ryokan Experience

I enjoyed the private outdoor onsen in the room very much. The ryokan also provides a shuttle bus from the station if you call. The staff are helpful and happy to answer questions. The japanese dinner and breakfast were served with explanations.
Locating the hotel parking was tricky because it was within the center of the onsen town.

Authentic Ryokan Experience
onsen variety free shuttle delicious dinner
I enjoyed the variety of onsen available for private family use. The hotel offers a free shuttle to pick you up from the train station and takes you to the monkey park. I found the staff warm and the dinner delicious.
I found the hotel parking tricky given its location in the centre of an Onsen town.

The room featured tatami mats and a futon bed, providing an authentic Japanese experience. It also had shoji sliding doors. My room had a private open-air bath offering a relaxing space with thermal waters. The room included yukatas that I could wear throughout the hotel.
