The hotel building is quite old with different levels. Navigating it involves many stairs, which could be challenging for some guests.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent Japanese food experiences. I tried so many little dishes! The kaiseki dinner was great, and I stayed three nights, so they served different menus each day.
I enjoyed the private outdoor onsen in the room very much. The ryokan also provides a shuttle bus from the station if you call. The staff are helpful and happy to answer questions. The japanese dinner and breakfast were served with explanations.
Locating the hotel parking was tricky because it was within the center of the onsen town.
