Adequate Stay with Some Drawbacks
helpful staff tasty breakfast lovely view cramped space steep step metal plate
The staff were friendly and helpful. They told us about the local attractions. The breakfast was good and had an appropriate portion size. The location above the ticket office allows views of the funicular railway.
The guest entrance is located at the back of the hotel through a cramped space. This leads straight onto the steps. The steps are sloped and steep. Metal plates cover them and make them treacherous in wet weather.

A Romantic escape
warm welcome satisfying portion funicular railway majestic view
Andy's welcome was warm. The thoughtfully prepared breakfast offered a satisfying portion. I particularly enjoyed the building's proximity to the funicular railway. It allowed for moments of pure joy watching it ascend and descend.. The views it afforded were MAJESTIC.
The guest entrance is at the back. It leads onto some rather steep steps.

Our room featured a comfortable bed with soft linens. There was a modern, private bathroom with fresh towels. The window provided a lovely view of the surrounding area.

The location provided very convenient access to the river area. The funicular offered an easy route to the upper town. This made exploring the local attractions quite simple.

great location by the cliff railway
tasty breakfast comfortable room
i enjoyed my stay there very much. the breakfast was excellent and tasty. the location is unique, right above the lift to the high town. the double room was comfortable.
the lighting in the bathroom was dim. the decor was a drab grey and lilac.

the guest house is conveniently located near the river. access to the high town is easy thanks to the adjacent funicular. the views of the funicular railway in operation are lovely from some vantage points.

the owners were very friendly and helpful throughout my stay. they provided information about the music festival and other local attractions. i felt welcomed because of their attention to detail.
