friendly staff delicious croissants
The staff were friendly. I was shown to my room after completing paperwork. The croissants were a dream (so buttery!).
The shower room had minimal shelf space for toiletries. I also noticed the mirror was too high for some.

warm welcome new lift lovely room fantastic shower
The welcome was warm from the manager! matthew really met our needs. the lift was new since our last visit, a nice addition. our spacious double room was lovely. The shower was fantastic. the staff are helpful!
taps in the bedroom did not function adequately. a plumber should check this. the pelmet fell down when adjusting the blind.

friendly staff superb breakfast noisy courtyard busy courtyard
i spent a few nights. the breakfast was superb. dinner was good. the staff were very friendly and gave me tips on the best places to park.
i booked a 3 night stay. our room overlooked the rear of the building. local people gathered to drink and smoke. the courtyard remained busy until late.

a good retreat
helpful manager fresh breakfast good space
I found the manager quite helpful. He really knew the area well. breakfast was also a treat. Everything seemed fresh and locally sourced. the room had good space, it was easy to relax after a long day.
The taps in my room, they just didnt work as i think they should. I hope they fix it soon.

the hotel gave easy access to nearby attractions, it was simple to plan day trips from here. local shops and cafes are within easy walking distance, very convenient. the countryside nearby is pretty, a lovely place for walks.

i booked a spacious double for my stay. the room was very nice and neat. the en-suite had a walk-in shower and was well equipped.
the room was a little cold until i requested extra heating. !! the staff were pleasant! but the wi-fi was slow. i think the hotel should have considered that.

inadequate taps limited whisky
The professional staff welcomed me and showed me to my room. The room was large, comfortable, and clean and decorated on the theme of a local coastal village.
The taps in the bedroom did not function adequately and a plumber should address this (I would think this is basic maintenance). The pelmet fell down when I adjusted the blind. A range of malts would appeal to some clients in the bar. The whisky selection was limited.
