fantastic stay in the countryside

I found the staff to be friendly (especially mark and kay!). the breakfast was freshly cooked and very big. the room had tall ceilings and soft towels. It was spacious and clean. i really enjoyed my visit.

The room faced the main road. I noticed some noise when the window was open.

Superb Hospitality and Delicious Food!

I found the hosts lovely. They took their time to welcome me and explain everything to me. The food in the bar is awesome. The homemade cheesecake is especially wonderful. I appreciated the friendly atmosphere. I was like I was sitting in my own living room!

The room was very small. It was still manageable. a bit more space would have been nice.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially the hosts. They were helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I really appreciated their warm welcome and attentiveness, it was great.

Breakfast was excellent, offering freshly cooked and delicious options. I found lots of choice for evening meals. The restaurant provided home-cooked options. Thick slices of bacon accompanied breakfast. Black pudding and real coffee were also available.

I was lucky. I stayed the night of a hog roast at the pub. Live music was available. It was a great treat. The smart TV in the room allowed me to watch a movie on Netflix.

the room does have a bit of noise from outside during the day but not too much.

The hosts were hospitable and attentive, ensuring i felt welcome. The breakfast included thick bacon slices and real coffee. i also enjoyed dinner in the pub. The plate was plentiful. The smart TV was also appreciated, awesome.

My room was small, and the bed felt even smaller than expected. it lacked a top sheet. There was only a covered duvet available. This made the room rather hot during the NIGHT.

mixed feelings about my stay

the staff seemed friendly and helpful enough during my short stay.

i was surprised by the size of the room. it felt cramped, especially considering what i paid. also, the noise from outside at night was pretty bad (i could hear everything!). it was hard to get a good night's sleep with all the commotion.
