fatty steak unattentive service
the room was clean upon arrival.
I found the food quality disappointing (especially given the price). my steak was fatty and under-rendered. the service was unattentive. We waited a long time for drinks. i probably will not return here.

lovely stay
local food nourishing food bird watching
the food was excellent. it was all local or homegrown and nourishing. i was able to go for walks without needing the car. the bird watching was amazing and might be my new favourite hobby.
there were a lot of flies inside. it was a real nuisance to those eating in the restaurant.

staff booked us in. they could not have been more friendly and informative. the waitress was superb and attentive without being intrusive. the reception member of staff was friendly and professional.
