pleasant stay!
friendly staff english breakfast clean room quiet pub
the staff was friendly! a full english breakfast was available. the room was very clean. the pub was quiet.

some issues
warm room chaotic breakfast
the room was too warm. the noise from the beer garden continued past 11 pm. the breakfast service was chaotic, especially on saturday. i was told breakfast started at 7:30, but nobody was in the dining room. things were not ready, and it took 20 minutes to get my breakfast.

incorrect remote lacking communication
breakfast service was very good.
The tv remote in the room wasn't the correct one. Volume changes altered channels. also, i couldn't see what program was on which channel. communication regarding the sunday menu was lacking, because after 7 pm, we were told only supper club was available, but later learned the bar menu was also an option. Disappointing.

comfy bed good variety
the shower was powerful with lots of hot water the bed was comfy too. The breakfast had a good variety and it was tasty.
the beer garden was a little noisy later in the evening.

decent, but some issues noted
warm room late-night noise
the breakfast met expectations. it was served promptly at 8:00 am.
the beautiful king room was quite warm. i found it difficult to sleep comfortably. the noise from the nearby area continued late into the night, past 11 pm, which further disturbed my rest. the lack of effective soundproofing was disappointing.

good choice adjacent parking
the breakfast had a good choice of items. adjacent car parking was convenient. the staff was friendly. there was a pleasant welcome when i arrived.
i found some cobwebs on the ceiling.
