satisfactory stay

generous hostcomfortable bedsbad odourtiny bathroom
fiona was a very generous host, i must say. She even left us some biscuits, tea, coffee, and hot chocolate in our room. The room was a nice size, with comfortable beds and a really good ensuite shower with complimentary toiletries.
the place had a bad odour of cooked fish, honestly. Bathroom was tiny, more like a cupboard. i did not like that at all.

Really good Hospitality near the Ferry

lovely breakfastefficient housecomfortable bedsexcellent value
Breakfast was quite lovely and offered more than enough variety I appreciated the efficiency with which Fiona manages the guest house with Bernie's help. The beds provided good comfort I enjoyed the omelette I had for breakfast before I left. The value received certainly matched the money spent.
There was a slight odor of cooked fish in the place I noticed this only briefly.
Rooms
9/10
The room included crisp clean white sheets I loved this small detail of the sea view double room. The room provided a comfortable space for rest I found this very important after a long journey.
Service

Fiona is a very knowledgeable hostess who is interesting to chat with. Bernadette served us initially at the quaint well stocked bar she provided excellent service. They are very accommodating to requests.
Dining
9/10
The onsite restaurant and bar produce sensational food for both dinner and breakfast I noted this. Fiona prepares all the meals herself I learned. She catered for dietary needs effectively.
