the ground floor en suite room had its own entrance to the patio. breakfast included cereal toast coffee tea and orange juice. the farmers arms pub was just a short drive away. the 400 year old farmhouse offered a unique and peaceful stay away from chain hotels.

the check-in time was later than usual at 6pm it might inconvenience guests needing earlier access.

The ground floor room had its own entrance via French doors. This allowed my friend and me to come and go as we pleased. The room was equipped with a great shower, so that I could take a great shower every morning. I found the bed provided to be very comfy.

The room was ideal and very quiet. I enjoyed the privacy.

I was disappointed by the lack of toiletries (usually standard these days). i also found the overgrown garden difficult to navigate. It was a struggle to reach our room's entrance through the weeds.
