a wonderful getaway
village location easy exploration quality produce generous portion
i found the village beautiful and the location central. cambridge and the area surrounding are very easy to explore. the surroundings allowed me to relax and get away from everything. breakfast came to my door each morning, a lovely service. quality produce looked in a generous portion.
some minor updates would be welcome, but everything suited my needs well.

the hotel features free parking directly in front of the building. also, included is access to complimentary wi-fi. the apartment provides a microwave, fridge and kettle for guest convenience .

breakfast is delivered each morning directly to the door at a prearranged time, very convenient. a full cooked breakfast sets you up for the day. the ingredients are locally sourced and of high quality.

some issues with the room
damaged bedding poor shower
the host was really friendly when i arrived, that was nice.
the windows where covered so i couldn't see outside and the room felt very small. some of the bedding was damaged and needed to be fixed. the shower wasn't great either.

Charming Stay in a Peaceful Village
good quality produce generous portion off-street parking
The breakfast delivered to the door each morning was great. It had really good quality produce and a generous portion (especially the eggs!). The bed was very comfortable, and I had a very good night's sleep. I appreciated the off-street parking. It added a layer of convenience.
The room had a long mirror, but more light would improve the space. It's functional but could be better.

a romantic getaway
warm welcome tender experience quality produce local transport
i felt immediately welcome, a tender experience. breakfast arrived each morning, delivered right to the door, so thoughtful and caring. it featured really good quality produce, presented in a generous portion. the host, alex, provided lots of information about local transport to cambridge. it was just what i needed!
The room was a tad too warm at times. It would have been wonderful to have a way to adjust the temperature more easily.

Alex, the host, was accommodating and friendly. Nothing seemed like too much trouble at all. the cute smile accompanying breakfast delivery added such a tender personal touch. it made the start of each day brighter!!!

The cottage garden view room included a microwave and a kettle, so convenient for making tea. it also had a fridge, such a lovely touch. It provided a space to keep drinks cold. i really enjoyed that the bed was very comfy.

the location was peaceful, a perfect escape from the hectic world. a very decent pub, offering lovely meals, was nearby, just a few yards away. i found it easy to explore cambridge and the surrounding area!!!
