unsecured door loud music
the location was acceptable near the airport.
the room door wouldn't close properly, i told the front desk, but it took over 5 hours for someone to come fix it. also, there was loud music sometimes coming from the pool bar, i found that annoying! the restaurant wasn't cheap, i expected better.

mixed feelings on this stay
poor wi-fi loud staff
the location is quite convenient (i will admit).
The wi-fi was practically non-existent in my room. It was annoying since i needed to check emails. the bar situation wasn't much better. Sometimes nobody was there, or staff would watch movies loudly on the pool speakers. (not exactly relaxing, is it?)

charming and Convenient Stay
warm atmosphere convenient pool ocean pool
The lobby created a warm, jamaican atmosphere immediately. two distinct pools provided different experiences. The smaller one near the restaurant was quite convenient. i found the main pool mimicked the ocean well. the bar played music throughout the day.
i noticed some slight wear on the exterior of the buildings.

the restaurant served american, authentic jamaican, and vegan dishes. it sits close to the smaller pool and is very accessible. the food prices seemed reasonable (especially given the location).

lovely staff good food reasonable prices
The grounds are well kept and the staff is lovely. Security personnel. The restaurant has reasonable prices. I found the food to be quite good.

The rooms have air conditioning, very helpful. I had a comfortable patio, which I appreciated. It added a nice touch to the space. The room was clean, and all the basics were covered.

The location provides easy access to nearby shops and restaurants. I could easily walk to the Hip Strip. Several beaches are near the hotel. It is also a short drive from the airport. This made getting there simple.

The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. The shuttle driver was very polite, and he drove carefully. They afforded me an early check-in. I found this particularly helpful after my long trip.
