I stayed in villa two, very close to the reception. it remained quiet and peaceful (it was so serene!). the pool enjoyed sun exposure for the majority of the day. the lush greenery and koi ponds created an charming setting. everything was impeccably clean and well maintained. This rustic touch enhanced the experience. the staff greeted me warmly and handled every detail with precision.
i noticed the road leading to the hotel can be a bit bumpy. the ride required some navigation, but it led to a special place.

the villa looked great. the bed felt comfy. staff brought us a cake with an inscription when they knew it was our honeymoon. it was very nice.
the location is far from central ubud, it made getting around inconvenient. the hotel layout felt cramped. rooms are very close to each other. the pool was small and right next to the restaurant, i did not feel relaxed.

the room had a musty odor. i found the bedding with stains and holes. the furniture seemed like it had not been cleaned properly in a long time. the cigarette smoke was especially disappointing, especially since it triggered my asthma.

The staff were attentive and super friendly throughout my stay. everyone was very helpful. the daily activities are a nice extra. With those, the pools, spa, gym, and restaurant, there was enough to do without even leaving. the king suite was fine and overlooked the pool and the forest, so i had that view from the bath.
the location is a bit far from the center, requiring a 15-minute drive to town
