Really good Stay with Excellent Service
spacious room large bathroom excellent breakfast
The host was helpful, providing information about our stay. The room was bright and spacious. It included a storage cupboard and large bathroom. I found a great selection of tea and coffee (the Earl Grey was excellent). Breakfast was served in a nice dining room with condiments available. La Bottega Italian is nearby.
The bedspread looked dated.

rude staff price increase
the location worked well for accessing nearby attractions (north pier was fairly close).
They seemed dubious we were related because of different surnames. i also thought the price increase since my last visit was excessive.

the room included dressing robes! the bed was comfy. high-quality toiletries were provided in the bathroom, this was a great touch. breakfast was delicious and i appreciated the selection of jams.

the hotel is close to the train station, very convenient. many bars surround the area. it is only a short walk to the town centre, about a couple of minutes.

Our Superior King Room had a Kingsize bed plus a nice seating area. The room, including the bathroom, was immaculate (I really appreciated this!). Quality Dorma bedding was present. We also received complimentary toiletries and bottled water in the mini fridge.
The breakfast required ordering upon arrival, but this was a very minor inconvenience.
