really good culinary experience

the tasting menu offered an amazing mix of flavors. everything complemented each other well. staff showed knowledge and gave a personal touch. the breakfast used local ingredients and it really shone through.
the wall lighting was too bright. it was impossible to achieve low lighting in the room. i had to keep the radiator off and the window open because the room seemed hot.

The dinner experience was Fine!!! The staff were very informative and cute. The room was spacious. I found the bathroom large and well equipped. bathroom products were lovely. Breakfast offered many choices. eggs were cooked perfectly.
Our room was a bit compact, but this is typical for this style of hotel.

The staff was attentive. They greeted us with a friendly welcome. The staff were great too return a forgotten item. I felt welcome from arrival until after breakfast.

The room was decorated to a high standard. Attention to detail included locally sourced soaps and shampoos. I found indulgent hot chocolate and gingerbread in our room. Comfort touches included artwork, floral displays, and local products.

The car park had a challenging element. The ground floor gables suite design was great, very modern, and new. The suite included a large walk in shower and a corner bath. Mood lighting was throughout.

i love that the rooms have so many comfort touches. i also love the use of products from local suppliers, food, artwork, table floral displays, and bathroom products. the atmosphere felt warm and relaxed, and every single member of staff was a delight to talk to. we felt welcomed from arrival to departure after breakfast!!!
the windows in our room did not open, and the underfloor heating was too hot with no control. also, the duvet felt too thick.
