amazing views, amazing stay!
mountain view delicious breakfast convenient parking
i scored a room with a mountain view and it blew my mind. the breakfast was delicious and the staff are super nice. parking outside was a huge bonus, so convenient!
my room could have used a mirror, it was tricky getting ready with only the bathroom mirror available.

friendly chap comfy bed central location missing mirror steamy bathroom difficult situation
I found a really friendly chap at reception. He gave a super comfy bed and a perfect location (so central!). The breakfast was great and traditional English.
There was no mirror in the room, not great. The bathroom got steamy after a shower. This made it difficult to get ready.

Decent Location, Some Disappointments
missing mirror faulty fire alarm
The room felt quite basic, and I really missed having a mirror outside the bathroom. It was inconvenient to wait for the bathroom to clear or for the steam to dissipate after a shower just to use a mirror. I found the fire alarm went off twice. It was a bit unsettling even though the staff addressed the issue quickly, acknowledging a fault they were working to fix. (I hope they sort it out soon !).
