The room was very basic, and I missed having a mirror outside the bathroom. The bathroom mirror steamed up after showering. It became difficult to use when someone else was in there. the fire alarm went off twice! Staff addressed it quickly, identifying a fault, so it will be resolved.

I found a really friendly chap at reception. He gave a super comfy bed and a perfect location (so central!). The breakfast was great and traditional English.
There was no mirror in the room, not great. The bathroom got steamy after a shower. This made it difficult to get ready.

Decent Location, Some Disappointments
missing mirrorfaulty fire alarm
The room felt quite basic, and I really missed having a mirror outside the bathroom. It was inconvenient to wait for the bathroom to clear or for the steam to dissipate after a shower just to use a mirror. I found the fire alarm went off twice. It was a bit unsettling even though the staff addressed the issue quickly, acknowledging a fault they were working to fix. (I hope they sort it out soon !).
