i loved everything about my stay, it completely exceeded my expectations. the staff were so cute and friendly. i had a delicious dinner, the food was very high quality. breakfast was amazing, i especially enjoyed the locally sourced products. i also really appreciated the cleanliness of the room.
the tv remote had slightly worn-out batteries, but that's really the only tiny thing i could fault.

Parking is available right outside the hotel. i noticed a beer garden at the rear. It looked like a great spot with amazing views. heated pods are also there. there is also a pizza oven available.

my room was well-furnished and of good size. the bed was super comfortable. the room included plenty of storage space. toiletries provided were of a high standard, and the towels were white and fluffy!

the hotel is situated in the scottish borders area! there are beautiful walks right outside. it is handy for exploring the berwickshire coastline. newcraighall train station is close, for train travel.

the restaurant uses local, named suppliers. i was impressed. there were vegan options available. there are home made preserves available, including lemon curd. breakfast included fresh fruit and yogurt. a great choice of cooked items.
