the location offered fine views of the eiger and mönch. the staff displayed extraordinary warmth. my room was impeccably clean. i appreciated the delicious meals served in the panoramic restaurant, complete with beautiful presentation (i tried some swiss wines).
the walls seemed a bit thin, allowing some noise from neighboring rooms to filter through.

the terrace restaurant has views of the eiger, mönch and jungfrau. the swiss dishes are delicious with a selection of swiss wines. breakfast included coffee, breads, local cheeses, fruits, yogurt, and cereal.

the personnel were wonderful and helpful. if you arrive early, you can leave luggage at the hotel and explore (the staff were very friendly and accommodating). the staff were very nice.

mountain view rooms have balconies to take in the alps. our room was clean and spacious (an extra twin bed had been added). the room was comfortable and recently renovated.

the location is easy to reach walking from the train station. the hotel sits on the edge of a ravine. it has views of lauterbrunnen valley and the eiger and mönch.

underwhelming stay

short walksmall roombathroom hairs
the location was acceptable, a short walk from the train station.
the room i received was quite small. the bathroom floor had some hairs, it was not completely clean. cigarette smoking on the balconies was also a problem since the windows needed to be open.
