Chris gave me a very warm welcome. The location was very convenient and close to where I needed to be. A good choice for a cooked breakfast was available. Reserving a parking space connected to the hotel was a major benefit.

The complimentary cakes were a sweet surprise. They were homemade. Breakfast was superb and generous portions made it a hearty start to the day. The classic four poster bed added a great touch of elegance to the room. I slept so well.
The carpet was dated. It could use a refresh.

The breakfast was delicious, with generous portions and superb presentation. Homemade cakes were complimentary and available anytime. It was so good! The location was perfect, I walked to shops and restaurants in minutes. Private off street parking makes everything easy.
The room overlooked the car park. I could not keep an eye on my motorbike as well from there.

the host made me a packed lunch. it was fresh and much better than a supermarket sandwich! the bed was very comfortable, though the pillows were a bit soft.
there was no lift, so carrying luggage upstairs was slightly inconvenient.

The host made a fantastic vegan breakfast. It was very thoughtful of them. The room was pleasant. The shared bathroom was impeccably clean. The host stored my luggage for a few hours after checkout. This was very kind.
I dropped something by the bed. It was filthy down there. The carpet looked like it had never been hoovered. The hotel appears very dated.
