was really good
great locationtop servicefamily businessscottish breakfast
the location worked well. it served as great stop between stirling and aviemore. the service was top notch for me. i loved that the hotel operates as a family business. the scottish breakfast tasted delicious and the host, cathy, was lovely.
The handpumps for ale were both out of action. I found this slightly disappointing, but it didn't impact my overall stay much.

the staff was friendly and helpful. the restaurant was reasonably priced.
my room was too close to the kitchen and this was annoying. the noise started early in the morning and it did not stop. also, the bathroom lacked proper ventilation and this made the air humid.

I found some aspects less than satisfactory. The ice machine was out of service during my entire stay. This was quite inconvenient. the television remote in my room did not function properly. I had to manually change channels. This was a minor annoyance, but it detracted from the overall experience.

I found the staff cute upon my arrival. They were very helpful! my room was spacious, bright, and super clean. the bed offered sufficient comfort, and the bathroom was notably large, well-lit, and equipped with modern fixtures.
I noticed the absence of available handpumps for ale. That was a slight letdown!
