nikky and richard gave a very warm welcome. our double room private bathroom was spacious and comfortable. free wifi and sky, including sky movies, added to the experience. the beer garden to the rear, along with secure off street parking, was great.
the heating wasn't on when i arrived. the room felt cold initially. it eventually came on, but it took a while.

the room had comfy beds. the shower was decent and provided good water pressure. i enjoyed many pints of ossian in the bar. the service i received from rich and niki was friendly and swift.

The breakfast included local produce of great quality, it was evidently fresh.
The tv in the room was mounted at a 90-degree angle from the bed, i couldn't watch it comfortably. There wasn't enough communication about restrictions for children in the pub area. This information should HAVE been shared before arrival. i found this quite inconvenient

the staff was friendly and helpful. the bar offered a quiet atmosphere. the decor in both the bar and restaurant felt lovely. i will.
the heating wasn't on when i got there, and it felt chilly. they said a timer controls the heat, and it would come on later. it did turn on, but the room wasn't warm before it turned off. the night was cold.

fantastic stay!

The rooms were spacious and very clean. the bed was comfortable. i enjoyed the lovely bar area for drinks and food. It had a nice atmosphere. the staff were nice and helpful. I really appreciate the beer garden and the ample parking.
The heating was not on when i arrived. It was cold. i was told that the heating was controlled by a timer which would switch on later. it did switch on after a while but did not heat the room enough before it turned off.
