lovely stay!
comfy beds decent shower friendly service swift service
the room had comfy beds. the shower was decent and provided good water pressure. i enjoyed many pints of ossian in the bar. the service i received from rich and niki was friendly and swift.

starters included soup and seriously nice cullen skink. mains of burgers and scampi were good also. breakfast i pre-ordered the evening before was hot, tasty, and a decent size.

the hotel offers car parking at the rear of the hotel. there is a beer garden where i could unwind after a day golfing. a log fire heats the bar, which creates a cozy atmosphere.

Mixed feelings About this stay
awkward tv angle poor communication
The breakfast included local produce of great quality, it was evidently fresh.
The tv in the room was mounted at a 90-degree angle from the bed, i couldn't watch it comfortably. There wasn't enough communication about restrictions for children in the pub area. This information should HAVE been shared before arrival. i found this quite inconvenient

a LOVELY stay
friendly staff quiet atmosphere lovely decor
the staff was friendly and helpful. the bar offered a quiet atmosphere. the decor in both the bar and restaurant felt lovely. i will.
the heating wasn't on when i got there, and it felt chilly. they said a timer controls the heat, and it would come on later. it did turn on, but the room wasn't warm before it turned off. the night was cold.

fantastic stay!
spacious rooms clean room lovely bar
The rooms were spacious and very clean. the bed was comfortable. i enjoyed the lovely bar area for drinks and food. It had a nice atmosphere. the staff were nice and helpful. I really appreciate the beer garden and the ample parking.
The heating was not on when i arrived. It was cold. i was told that the heating was controlled by a timer which would switch on later. it did switch on after a while but did not heat the room enough before it turned off.

There is a beer garden at the hotel. This is a nice addition. the facility has free parking at the rear, a very convenient feature who drive. it also has a vibrant atmosphere throughout the entire building.

the room included a very comfortable bed. the rooms were also spacious. cleanliness was apparent in the rooms and ensuites. the family room we stayed in had its own private bathroom.

the hotel's location is excellent for exploring the surrounding area. it is just a few minutes off the motorway, a great stop-off point for travellers. it is a very convenient location.

the staff and owners were very nice and helpful to me. they are very attentive. the staff were also really friendly, especially with our dog!!!

the owners were accommodating. the bar staff were cute. the food was delicious and well-prepared. (i particularly enjoyed the local specials.).
the tv in my room was mounted at an awkward angle for comfortable viewing from the bed.

cold room slow responses
the heating did not work properly . the room was very cold when i arrived. i was told the heat was on a timer though it did not adequately warm the room.
