The barman was very friendly upon my arrival. He offered a warm welcome and efficient service. The landlady was lovely and always available to assist with any questions I had. The staff were great with children making them feel at home.
I was informed upon arrival that the kitchen was closed because of a party that evening.

the staff displayed a real friendliness. i found them very cute and very accommodating. the breakfast stood out as a highlight, it was the best hotel breakfast i had in a while.
i found that the kitchen closed one evening because of a party. i wasn't told this information on my arrival. i ended up ordering a takeaway because i did not know the area.

The staff was cute. I felt right at home. the room was well-organized and met all my needs for a comfortable night. i particularly enjoyed the really good evening meal i had. the shower was really good (i always appreciate a strong shower!).
i arrived to find the kitchen closed for a party, i had to get takeaway (it was a minor inconvenience, though).
