Decent Stay, Some Disappointing Aspects
small room greasy breakfast
The room was small (smaller than I expected) for the price. I found the food in the restaurant quite disappointing. I had the chicken burger, but the chicken was slimy and did not taste like it was properly cooked. The chips were also overcooked and hard. The English breakfast wasn't much better with fatty bacon and solid poached eggs.

luxury toiletries transport access nice walks
The room had luxury Bramley toiletries provided, a really pleasant detail. I found good access to transport and amenities near the hotel. The location offers many nice places for a walk (I enjoyed exploring the area).

the room had crisp white bed linen and soft fluffy towels. i found a pod coffee machine with various flavored coffees. the fish, chips and mushy peas tasted delicious!

adequate stay, some issues noticed
early check-in reception staff restaurant staff slimy chicken undercooked chicken crispy chips
The room was available for an early check-in. this allowed me to work from the room. the reception staff responded well. I also appreciate the restaurant staff for the evening meal.
The chicken burger was slimy. it seemed underdone, and i left it. the skin was not crispy. the twisted chips were extra crispy. I could not eat them.

luxury toiletries coffee machine good access small room cramped space steep price
i LOVED the luxury Bramley toiletries that were available in the room. there was also a coffee machine with snacks. the hotel has good access to transport and amenities. there ARE nice places nearby to take a walk.
the room was a little snug, and i found it cramped. the wc was right in front of the radiator, SO you had to sit at an angle. the price felt a bit steep for such a small room.

disappointing menu fatty bacon
The room was nicely presented and comfortable I found that acceptable.
The menu was disappointing. My wife's fondant potato looked three days old. Breakfast was not good either as the bacon was fatty and the poached eggs were solid.

cozy stay near london
excellent toiletries friendly staff easy parking quality breakfast
The double room had excellent toiletries, a detail i appreciated. friendly staff checked me in. The process was quick. i easily found parking each day and also found a spot when i returned late at night. the breakfast offered good quality items each morning.
i wished the menu included some lighter options and salads. the food choices seemed rather heavy for my taste.

the hotel features various bars, each with a distinct, traditional style. one bar caters specifically to adults over 18 and it includes an open fireplace. the parking area is ample and always provided available spaces.
